ABC’s “Modern Family” actress Sofia Vergara thinks that Disney “High School Musical” star Zac Efron is adorable! The two worked together on the upcoming movie “New Years Eve,” and a source spilled the following details to the National Enquirer:

Sofia told everyone Zac was adorable. She called him ‘my little Zacito.’ She’d grab his biceps and yell, ‘What huge muscles you have, young man!’ She was just being her usual outrageous self. Even if she were single, she’d never date a guy as young as Zac, who’s 23. She said, ‘I can’t even go there!’ Zac’s almost the same age as her 18-year-old son.

Joe Jonas is Detail magazine’s April cover boy. The Disney star sat down with the mag for an in-depth convo discussing everything from his new solo career, growing up and his (now former) relationship with Twilight-er Ashley Greene. The 1/3 of the Jonas group isn’t the only Disney teen heartthrob to cover the men’s magazine; Zac Efron struck a sultry pose on the September 2010 cover. So we’ve gotta ask: which Disney alum looked best on the cover: Zac or Joe?

Vanessa admits distance doesn’t always make the heart grow fonder.

A major factor leading to her split from longtime love Zac Efron last December was the pair’s packed work schedules, which took them to opposite ends of the Earth at times.

“Long-distance relationships are hard no matter what,” Hudgens tells the April issue of Shape, out March 21.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t an app for that, says Hudgens, 22.

“When you don’t have face-to-face time, it’s just different. Having an iPhone helped, but it wasn’t the same.”

Although it’s over, the relationship remains a significant one in her life.

“We grew up together,” Hudgens says. “It was nice to have someone to share all of those experiences with.” She adds of Efron, who visited her (as a friend) on the set of her new movie, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, “It was a good thing. The relationship kept me grounded, and because I was with someone who knew me so well, I didn’t need to try to be someone I’m not.”

The good news: The break-up left her virtually unscathed – and ready to get back out there.

“I hope by the time I’m 30 to have a husband and maybe a baby,” she reveals. “I love children. They’re so much fun, and I would have a blast spoiling them!”

VANESSA Hudgens says Zac Efron helped guide her through the perils of Hollywood.

The actress — who recently split from the hunky actor — insists she’s just “friends” with Efron, but admits in a new interview that much of her personal success is a result of his strength.

“A lot of people may get lost in the lights and glamor of it all. It should be about the work first and everything else later,” Vanessa said.

“I also had to grow with, like Ashley Tisdale and Zac. We all went on this journey together and had each other to fall back on. You’ve got to have your friends to keep your head on straight.”

Hudgens recently admitted she quite likes dorky guys.

“I dated the smallest and skinniest kid in sixth grade,” Vanessa confessed.

“I like the dorks. I know some guys that are more vain than girls, especially in this business. It’s annoying.”

Zac was seen leaving Toast Cafe on Sunday morning (March 6th) after having brunch with a friend.

Madonna and Zac Efron have now joined the list of celebrities who have reportedly been approached to be judges on “The X Factor” U.S. The show’s executive producer/judge Simon Cowell recently named several celebrities (including Mariah Carey, Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and George Michael) as being among those who have been in discussions to be a judge on “The X Factor” U.S.

According to the Daily Mirror: “Cowell, 51, is now pinning his hopes on Zac Efron and is also talking to Madonna and Paula Abdul.”

The Daily Mirror is also reporting that Cee Lo Green was in discussions to be a judge on “The X Factor” U.S., but instead he chose to be a coach on NBC’s rival singing contest “The Voice,” which premieres April 26, 2011. “The X Factor” U.S. premieres sometime in September 2011 on Fox. Auditions begin March 27, 2011, at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Each winner of “The X Factor” U.S. gets a grand prize of $5 million and a record deal with Sony Music.

Cowell is the only “X Factor” U.S. judge officially announced so far. There are three other people who are supposed to be on the show’s judging panel. The “X Factor” judges act as mentors to contestants in the following four categories, with each judge getting a selected category: young female solo singers, young male solo singers, vocal groups and older solo singers.

Update: Zac Efron, who rose to fame because of the “High School Musical” franchise, has said in interviews that he now wants to focus on non-musical projects, so he may not be interested in being an “X Factor” judge. Efron’s publicist has already denied rumors from December 2010 that Efron would be hosting “The X Factor” U.S., so it is unlikely that Efron would want the more time-consuming job of being a judge on the show. Edit: Zac has been approached in the past to be an X Factor Judge, however, has no interest at the moment.

Even though they may not be together anymore, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron still share the same interests — while in NYC on Mar. 3, both stars decided to de-stress with a little retail therapy. While Vanessa went over to the swanky 25 Park, Zac kept it cool and casual at Armani Exchange. Even though they may not still be together, they’re definitely a stylish duo!
